Welcome to Sannitree® International, a family run business with a rich history dating back to 1981.

Founded by Mike Mayne, our company has been at the forefront of providing innovative bio-enzyme and microbial-based cleaners for a variety of applications. From tackling septic tank waste to addressing pet mess, stubborn restaurant grease to polluted waste-water, if it’s organic, we can confidently say that we have a solution to break it down.

Our journey began in the 1980s when Mike Mayne envisioned a way to offer economical sewage treatment in rural areas, farms, and settlement camps. Recognizing the importance of treating effluent without harming the environment, Mike, along with Dr. DG Celliers, a renowned enzymologist, embarked on a journey of testing, analyzing, and marketing our very first microbial-based product, Sannitree® Bio-Enzymes.

Joined by Gordon Bruce (Finance and Administration) and Brian Goodman (Marketing & International Development), the team pioneered the development of over 15 niche products. These products range from powders designed for septic tanks and grease traps to specialized enzyme-based odour digesters and a powder formulated to eliminate harmful ammonia gas in pig sties.

Though the founders have passed on, their legacy lives on through the dedication of Sean, Anton, and Gregory Mayne. Today, Sannitree® International is proud to be represented by subsidiaries or agencies in numerous countries worldwide.
