Aqua-CB™ Pre-biotic Enhancer is a combination biological water cleaner for tanks designed to break down excretes, excess feeds and bottom sediments, while simultaneously stabilizing the gastro-intestinal functions of prawns, abalone, tilapia and trout by creating a beneficial probiotic environment. This lowers the possibility of viral and fungal infections, while simultaneously increasing feed efficiency. It requires power aeration in the treated pond as it works more efficiently at high oxygen levels. -
Over time a layer of sediment develops in prawn and tilapia farm ponds that has a higher organic carbon concentration than the original pond bottom soil. This strata typically develops at a rate of 2 cm sediment per year and affects the water quality of follow-on crops. Aqua-Soil™ can be scattered at a ratio of 10kg per hectare on the affected surface during the drying-out cycle. It can also be ploughed into the bottom if adding lime. -
