The enzymes in Dog Pong Gone! are specialised proteins that act like biological scissors. They target the specific chemical bonds in the uric acid and urea, and once attached, trigger a chemical reaction that shatters the complex odour molecules into simple, odourless components like carbon dioxide and water.
Unlike a chemical spray that evaporates in seconds, enzymes are living catalysts and need 24-48 hours to work. They need to stay damp, because if the area dries out too fast, the enzymes stop “eating.” Since urine soaks into the carpet pad or floorboards, the enzymes must travel that same path to find every last crystal.
